“One may have a blazing hearth in one’s soul and yet no one ever came to sit by it. Passers-by see only a wisp of smoke from the chimney and continue on their way.” Vincent Van Gogh
On a cold winter day a hot bowl of soup, warm bread fresh from the oven and sweet, colorful fruit in a bowl can stoke our inner fires and keep them lit by taking pleasure in the simple, still beauty of hearth and home.
A hearth and kitchen is filled with round shapes in bowls, canisters pots and pans, fruit and more.
For A Word A Week Photo Challenge: Round, my thoughts and photos are in a warm and welcoming hearth.
There may be snow on the roof, but there is a fire in the kitchen.
