Geometry, geo or earth and metron or measure, a measurement of the earth is all around us in curves, spheres, pyramids, rectangles–actually all angles. A Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry offers an artistic challenge to find, photograph “shapes and rhythms that make up the geometry of our world.”
Curve in the River
I looked for the rhythm in nature and geometry where they combine in organic architecture where form follows function in a beautiful environment of a park on Naperville, Ill., Riverwalk and the DuPage River. At the Riverwalk, there is a harmony between the architectural design of a covered bridge and carillon, bell tower, that is integrates with the river and woods.
The design of the riverwalk follows with the curve of the river and the bridge and carillon blends into the natural surroundings. And, the music of the carillon bells is heard against sounds of the rushing river and birds.

One of the routes I started to take with this challenge was covered bridges, so much geometry there! Yours is a gorgeous specimen. where were these pictures taken? Please accept my apology if that information is staring me in the face and I still missed it, I did look.
This bridge is at the Riverwalk in Naperville, Il., a great place for a walk. So glad you liked it. 🙂
