Weekly Photo Challenge – Mystical Green

Green is the color of flowing waters, and rich valleys and fields.  It’s the color of forest paths, stalks of grass so smooth, and the energy and environment entwined together in growth.  Green is a mystical color nature and a sensory color in shades that brighten, soothe and enliven us.

Summer has passed into autumn and winter is soon to come.  I think back on spring and summer when the land was a verdant palette of greens.  I’m combining the Weekly Photo Challenge: Green and Where’s My Backpack Travel theme: Mystical , because I see the mystical green in nature of forests and lakes on hikes on trail, along the edges of meadows and  water.   I see hues of green in a carpet of damp grass, ferns and native plants, and in brooks, lakes and creeks.
