rocky path
Spring got off to a rocky start in the Midwest, because thaw and sunshine have been replaced with strong winds and warnings of snow flurries. Well that is Midwest weather, always changeable. Sometimes it’s a rocky path to spring.
The landscape was pale gray and beige with no sign of new green grass. I thought about that today when I walked in the woods and the temperature dropped and wind picked up. Part of the path I walked today visually fit that thought; because it was very rocky. I watched where I walked.
And, I wondered when will the warmer weather be here to stay? When will spring turn green?

This photo is wonderful. I really like the blue grey color in the rocks. It gives the picture a perfect depth. Here’s hoping spring springs soon.
