April showers bring May flowers, but for many people in the Midwest April showers brought flooding and sandbagging as swollen rivers flooded streets and towns. Then the rains finally stopped. It was energizing when the rains stopped and the sunshine came out.
I saw wildflowers on a hike yesterday and unexpected surprise of color blooming before May. Everyone I met on the trail was cheerful, enjoying the sun and beautiful weather even if the ground was still soggy. When I saw flowers blooming along the trail, it kick-started positive feelings and gave me an extra energy boost.
I’m sharing the flowers with you, and wishing you a happy Earth Day.
yes, I agree, nature’s beauty even in it’s simplest form bring forth such a happy feeling 🙂
Or if you are in upper MN/WI you woke up to yet again more snow. I hear the plows at work
The bright bursts of colour are so welcome after a long grey winter…can’t wait for the trees to all grow back their leaves too, and stop looking so naked!
These wildflowers are bright and cheerful!
