Summer Meadow

I walked through countryside and a meadow with large old trees providing shade from still bright summer sun. Everything is still bright, deep greens…the leaves, the grass and the landscape.

“Be like the sun and meadow, which are not the least concerned by the coming winter.” George Bernard Shaw

I agreed with Shaw just drinking in the warmth, green beauty of the end of summer. Winter seems so far away, and I look forward to the crisp, cool days and colored autumn leaves.
