Photography, as we all know, is not real at all. It is an illusion of reality with which we create our own private world. Arnold Newman
I think Newman aptly captures a feeling that we have when we’re photographing certain places or moments.
For Weekly Photo Challenge: Juxtaposition, I’m sharing a photo of a quiet hidden world I found underneath a busy bridge. The textures of the gravel and bridge structure contrasts with the lush overgrown forest and reflecting waters of a canal. It’s part of the natural beneath and beside an urban environment.

Love the composition of the photo! Beautiful!
And the contrast of the placid waters with the bridge’s structure above it is also very nice. Very lovely photo in and by itself, much less it being in keeping with this week’s theme.
