What is dry, solid, ancient and exquisite? A beautiful large stone bust in the Asian Art Collection that I saw at the Art Institute of Chicago.
During the arctic wind blast winter of the Midwest, it’s warm, welcoming to visit a museum, conservatory or lots of indoor places that offer a heated sanctuary amid beautiful surroundings.
So for a Weekly Photo Challenge: Object and a Travel theme: Dry, I’m combining that in a photo of an exquisitely chiseled piece of ancient art.
Happy Lunar New Year! Happy Year of the Horse!

That’s a remarkable work of art, c & c. Thanks for showing.
What period is it from?
If I recall correctly, it was B.C.
