Weekly Photo Challenge – Container

There is a seasonal rhythm to prairies, just like coastlines or cornfields, and summer is the tall season.

The grasses, flowers and other plants sprout up high in the summer sun. A gentle breeze sends a wave of motion over the prairie. There is such an profusion of green and other colors that it can be hard to notice the assortment of plants.

For a Weekly Photo Challenge – Containers, I’m sharing a black and white photo of a bird house in a wild prairie.

  1. There is nothing as beautiful as a Bluebird. I set these houses out around my last yard but no luck, lots of chickadees and, oddly, toads.
