Nature offers an abundance of visual textures in a swamp in summer. Towering wispy plants, wildflowers and thin branched trees clump in groups in the water and along the edges. Sedges, reeds, and fallen logs line the outer rim of the water.
This free-floating ecosystem is filled with textures and colors, and accompanied by music from toads and birds. Even the the chokeweed, itchyweed and poison summac is blooming with color, but not enough to draw me too close.
There is a a lot to view, even with a wide angle, so I snap a picture of one edge of the swamp.
Beautiful lush green image!
Natures own creation of a perfect landscape design. Just look at those different levels, shapes of leaves and various green colors.
Beautiful ….
So much life in one small frame.
