Spring Cows

Walking down a country path by a country lane, I pass cows munching on meadow grass. Quietly they low and moo to each other, announcing my presence. Quietly they continue to move about the meadow chewing the Spring grass with an occasional glance at the stranger on the country path.

Now that the weather is warmed up, I see more cows farther out in pastures and meadows when I travel in rural areas. They are enjoying the sweet taste of the green tall grass and wild flowers.

As I breathe in the fresh country air, I enjoy watching them.
