It snowed. The gray clouds rolled across the sky and the air turned frosty. Then it snowed. I thought it would be a couple of inches of snow. Then it started to snow again as the sky darkened with thick wet flakes.
A day later and snow is melting. The trail I wander is muddy tracks in a quiet forest still shrouded with white. It is sunny and I continue on. Gradually I hear birds that have ventured out from in between branches; like I have ventured out. I continue on enjoying the sun and warmth, happy to be walking a trail and not shoveling snow.
