Spring Abstract Reflections

I wish I could claim the skills of Pollack with a shutter, but I cannot. Walking past a pond at midday, with sunny weather and the water conditions, and the curiosity of the fish swimming close to the rocks I stood on; aligned in nature’s artful way to achieve this abstract image.

Me, my eye was caught by the bright orange fish and weirdly photogenic image of branches on water and fish underneath. I couldn’t pose this shot, because after all it’s a fish.

What is abstract art?

Art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures.

Nature achieves so effortlessly everyday.
