A cooler breeze of fall has begun to chill the nighttime air. The days of ninety degrees may be over until next summer. Yet it’s still warm enough, sunny enough for shorts and tees. The leaves aren’t scattered on the sidewalks yet. And there is still crops to harvest in the fields.
So the warm weather lingers on a bit. And, I’m grateful for its lingering around like an old friend not ready to leave.
And, I’m looking back on the summer season in pictures with a glass of iced tea nearby.
