Pair of Canadian geese swim in lake with lily pads.
“Time is but the stream, I go a fishing in.” Henry David Thoreau
A solitary pair of Canadian geese swim in unison across a lily pad littered lake. It’s sunset the golden hour at time of this photo; and everything has a slant golden setting sunlight across it. The water and plants seem to shimmer as the day ends.
It’s a relaxed time. I think of the geese stopping for the night along their migratory path for a rest too. It’s also good fishing time. It’s a H20 below, that provides the lovely ecosystem for those above; and me walking beside it.
I hope you enjoyed the golden hour.
Lovely picture…. I wonder…if you had taken it from the other side of the water would it look exactly the same?
