fall marsh
As the tall marsh grass and reeds turns from bright green to the weathered color of straw; fish continue to swim between the grassy bank.
Above the surface hawks swoop down skimming the water for a meal; and the fish swim between the grassy banks to hide.
Ducks and geese swim up to the reeds looking for a meal; and the fish will dive deeper below the surface. The cooler, breezy air sends the fish below the surface quicker now. The tall grasses change colors and the marsh water looks darker as the sun seems to head south or north with migrating waterfowl.
