Jan @ TheRewildWest
Rewild West thank you. I just liked gazing at your photos of the vast, colorful desert landscape. I’m all for rewilding the West.
And all the rest! 😉 I do a weekly Pictorial Highlight in addition to the Travel Themes; each time doing a two-part highlight on a specific bioregion of California, with a little bit of information/ecology thrown in with the pics…all my own pictures from trip(s) I’ve taken to those areas =) My most recent on was Humboldt County and surrounding areas, where the most massive redwood trees are; Part 2/2 of that Pictorial Highlight I’ll probably post on Monday =)
I’ll check it out. Thanks.
I like the concept and really enjoy reading about regions. I may do one on rivers in a region with some eco and eco/activities in it. Thanks!
Yeah, bioregions are so important to learn about, and familiarize ourselves with, especially our own, and most especially when the industrial food supply begins to fall apart and we have to acquire our food self/community-sufficiently!
Yes and taking advantage of, enjoying and supporting the ecology and nature around us. 🙂
Definitely! “Taking advantage of” shouldn’t be misinterpreted as anything domineering, I know what you mean! =)
Thanks RewildWest. “Taking advantage” is meant to enjoy, explore and support the wilderness and parks.
Thanks for visiting and leaving your footprints and comments on my ‘self-exploration’ of solitude. I loved your explorations of life. love

Hi! Thank you for checking out my blog. You have a pretty cool site! I wish you all the best, Diana.
Thanks for the visit. You seem to be on the go quite a bit. I just came to your site so you may have already posted the answer to my question. Do you still use film? I have a camera I was given on my sixteenth-birthday a Canon Rebel SII as a B&W film only camera. Currently setting up my own B&W darkroom for printing only. Cheers!
Yes, I like to use both film and digital. I like to go back and forth between the two. I think it’s interesting that Instagram pics are reminiscent of film, and some apps for android and smart phones too.
I am a iPhone guy, I don’t know about those pesky android apps. I do agree with you about instagram.
Live in the moments that matter – wonderful words to live by. Congratulations – well deserved.
Thanks for stopping by!
