The Atlantic Ocean is an endless stretch of cool blue water and rolling waves. The foamy waves wash over Flagler Beach in Florida. The ocean, sand and sky are vast and beautiful. The Weekly Photo Challenge – Mine is about sharing a photo that the individual connects with as his or her own. My submission is my footprints in Weekly Photo Challenge – My Footprints
Footprints in the Sand
Walking on the warm, wet sand my feet sink in leaving impressions. When I look down, I see my footprints in the sand. No two sets of footprints are alike as people are individual with distinct wishes, needs and appearances. I look down and see something truly mine. I am imprinting my moments in time on the beach.
Further up the beach are other footprints of people who walked on beach before me. My footprints mix in with the others. Then waves roll up the beach washing footprints away. The sand is a clean slate until a person walks up the beach again making footprints in the sand.
The ocean changes the landscape of the beach with every wave that washes over the sand. It’s part of nature’s design of change and renewal.
What a lovely post!

Very original approach – love it!
I thought do I see of mine when I look down. Thanks!

The water, the sky and the sand for texture, very serene. Thank you for visiting and liking my post Travel Theme: Foliage.
Beautiful thoughts about your footprints in the sand. It reminded me of the poem. Incredibly true and very beautiful making this the perfect entry for the challenge. ~~~~ : – )
